Leeds United Chief Executive Angus Kinnear has expressed his surprise at Jack Harrison's move to Everton.
The winger completed a temporary summer move to Goodison Park from Daniel Farke's side to become Sean Dyche's fourth signing. He has yet to make an appearance for the Blues as he continues his recovery from a hip injury that he suffered during his time with the Elland Road side.
Harrison was one of a number of players who departed the West Yorkshire outfit following their relegation from the Premier League last season. Abdoulaye Doucoure's goal against AFC Bournemouth was the difference for Everton on the final day of the season which kept the Blues in the English top-flight subsequently succumbing Leeds to Championship football.
Dyche moved to bolster his attacking options following Dominic Calvert-Lewin's injury problems.

Beto, Youssef Chermiti and Arnaut Danjuma were among the forward arrivals on Merseyside as Ashley Young became the first signing of the 52-year-old's tenure after leaving Aston Villa.
However, Kinnear has opened up about his surprise over Harrison's decision to move to Everton, highlighting the "predicament" that the Blues are in.
"From my perspective going on loan to Everton with the predicament Everton are in, versus staying at Leeds and getting them promoted, there is a valid choice to make there, and we were surprised," he told the Square Ball Podcast.
"At the time, to secure Jack Harrison on a new contract with a wage reduction if we went down, those were the types of things that were in place."
