Barcelona and Manchester United are both keen on Everton midfielder Amadou Onana (22), according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Former Lille OSC midfielder Onana has quickly established himself as a key figure at Everton. He was part of the side that narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League this season, however, despite a points deduction, the Toffees are flourishing this season, and Onana is a big part of that.
Onana joined Everton in the summer of 2022 for €35m, and according to Foot Mercato, the Premier League side could make a significant profit on the player. Everton value the player between €55-60m amidst interest from Manchester United and Barcelona. The latter have even recently made contact with the player’s entourage about a summer move. Foot Mercato have denied reports linking Arsenal with a move for the Belgium international, who could make a January departure with some of Europe’s top clubs circling.
