According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Bayern Munich are looking to rival PSG for the signature of PSV holding midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré. The Bavarian club have already been in contact with the Ivorian and are discussing personal terms with the player. A formal proposal to the KNVB cup winners is expected to be lodged in the coming days.
PSG are also reportedly interested in a move to bring the former Toulouse defensive midfielder back to Ligue 1 this summer. Negotiations between the player and Les Parisiens have reportedly begun, but Sangaré has multiple offers on the table, with strong interest coming from the Bundesliga champions.
The 25-year-old has a release clause in his contract with the Eindhoven club, worth a reported €37m. The Ivory Coast international signed for PSV in the summer of 2020 for €7m. Sangaré has featured 136 times for PSV to date, winning two Dutch Cups and scoring on 13 occasions in the red and white shirt.
