One said: "This is the best lamb leg roasting recipe ever. When carving lamb was very succulent and medium to well, but so tender. Then just strained juices and reduced and thickened with cornflour, delicious gravy. Everybody loved it."
Another said it was now their "go-to'" for cooking lamb: "This was delicious but I used half the amount of stock and then thickened the pan juices with two teaspoons of cornflour and a dash of balsamic vinegar. Also found it was done to our liking after an hour and a half. This is my go-to recipe now for roast lamb."
A third said: "Never cooked lamb before so used this recipe and it was perfect. I had a half leg 1.2kg so I used one litre of stock and cooked for 1.5hrs and it was cooked perfectly. I added celery and bay leaves to the stock and used the tip of blending it to make a thicker gravy. Used a bit of rice flour to thicken and ran it through a sieve. Easy recipe to follow and the results were amazing."
