We are now into the final week of the 2023 summer transfer window and in typical Chelsea fashion, it's set to be a really busy final few days.
The Blues have already spent around £350million on incomings this summer as the club's board look to provide Mauricio Pochettino with all of the tools necessary to compete in his debut season at Stamford Bridge. Likewise, Chelsea have offloaded a whole host of unwanted players and have recouped over £200million in sales.

After signing Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for a combined £173million recently, the club's attention quickly turned to improving their attack. Chelsea are looking to sign a versatile attacker who can play on the right wing and also operate in the No.10 role, football.london understands.
The Blues have made a shortlist of players who they believe fit that profile and among them are Brennan Johnson and Lyon duo Bradley Barcola and Rayan Cherki. Chelsea have been quoted a price of around £50million by Nottingham Forest for Johnson but have not yet explored a possible deal any more than those initial talks.
Meanwhile, Barcola, who is just 20-years-old, is viewed as one of the most promising young attackers in world football. What complicates any move for the Frenchman, however, is Paris Saint-Germain having a keen interest in acquiring the winger.
