Cesare Casadei sends two-word Chelsea message as Liverpool Carabao Cup final availability confirmed

Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei has sent a simple two-word message after making an appearance against Manchester City on Saturday.

The Italian midfielder came on as a late substitute for the final eight minutes of the match. Three minutes after his introduction, Man City scored their equaliser through Rodri. Chelsea had taken the lead just before the half time break with Raheem Sterling netting against his former club.

Casadei’s appearance was his second since returning from a loan spell with Championship leaders Leicester City in the January transfer window. The 21-year-old also came on as a late substitute in the 4-1 defeat against Liverpool at the end of January.

Following his minutes against City, Casadei posted a picture on his Instagram stories along with a message reading “Keep fighting” and a blue heart emoji. The midfielder won’t be available for next weekend’s Carabao Cup final against Liverpool due to him being cup-tied after making an appearance in the second and third rounds of the competition for Leicester.

Casadei will also be unavailable for theFA Cup fifth-round clash against Leeds United in the game after due to again being cup-tied. He played, scored, and provided an assist in Leicester’s third-round win over Millwall in early January.

It means that Casadei will next be able to get some minutes when Chelsea take on Brentford at the G-Tech Community Stadium on Saturday, 2 March. During his time at the King Power Stadium, the midfielder made 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring three times.
