The latest Chelsea headlines, transfer gossip and stories with updates on Hakim Ziyech, Romelu Lukaku and the Blues' clash against West Ham
Aubameyang dig
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has taken a swipe at Chelsea while congratulating Hakim Ziyech on his transfer to Galatasaray. The 30-year-old winger had faced an uncertain future in west London for a while before eventually securing a move to the Turkish top-flight.
Like the Morocco international, Aubameyang struggled to force himself into the first-team at Stamford Bridge and spent much of the campaign on the bench before finding a new club in the summer. On his Instagram story, the Marseille ace wrote: "All the best my bro. Free Hakim *crying with laughter emoji* *fist bump emoji* *heart hands emoji*."
Ziyech then reposted Aubameyang's message to his Instagram story. Unsurprisingly, Chelsea fans weren't happy with the Gabon international's swipe at the club and they've made their feelings clear online.
Lukaku 'agreement'
When asked whether he could reintegrate Romelu Lukaku back into the Chelsea squad, Mauricio Pochettino replied: "It is not only one side - it is two sides needed to find the best solution. You cannot put it only on the club, it is about both sides.
"The situation is where it is because of both sides. Both sides have arrived at an agreement. We were informed before we signed about the situation of every single player," added Pochettino. "After we signed, we had the squad that we had. It is so clear that nothing has changed, and if there is something to inform then we will inform.
"There is nothing for us to do - I need to be focused on my team to try to perform. We cannot spend energy on a situation that was clear before we arrived at Chelsea."
