College inviting local community in to discover what it has to offer

West Lancashire College is delighted to be opening its doors to the local community once again and invites you to attend its open event on Monday, October 16 from 4.30pm until 7pm.

A thriving and successful college based in Skelmersdale town centre, next to Asda, the college offers a wide range of study programmes for school leavers, as well as courses for adults and apprentices, and is part of NCG, one of the largest education and training organisations in the UK.

The college welcomes you to come along to its open event where you can meet tutors and talk to current students, plus there will be lots of have a go activity for you to explore and free refreshments, too.

At the open event you can see for yourself the outstanding facilities, plus find out more about their impressive results, designated free transport, fabulous wrap around support, great connections with employers and universities, national and international trips - this year students are off to some fabulous places including Cyprus, Austria, and Malta.

Plus, find out more about the wide range of A Levels, BTECs, Technical, T Level and Apprenticeship and distance learning courses they have to offer.

Gareth Sutton, vice principal at the college says: “We welcome those leaving school, their parent/carers, and adults of all ages to join us at our open events.
