Curtis Jones accuses Mikel Arteta and Arsenal of stealing Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp's 'thing'
Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has addressed Arsenal's celebrations after their 3-1 win over the Reds at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners kept the heat on the Premier League league leaders to move only two points behind.
Goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard meant Mikel Arteta's men enjoyed a spectacle in north London, earning their third consecutive win in the league.
After losing 2-0 to Liverpool in the FA Cup at the start of the year, the Gunners have now defeated Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Liverpool to keep their hopes of winning a first league title in 20 years.
At full-time, the Arsenal players and supporters celebrated the win on the pitch, including captain Martin Odegaard taking pictures of the club photographer. However, a host of former players and pundits have accused the north Londoners of going too far.
Arteta has also been criticised for his post-match celebrations, with the Spaniard mimicking Jurgen Klopp's iconic fist pumps towards the home support.
Now the dust has settled, Jones has waded in on Arsenal's celebrations. He told BBC Sport: «Listen, that's why I've got to shut it all down in a respectful way, I'd say.

»The celebrations and all, that is all nice but for many years, we've always been a team, our fans have spoken about it and the gaffer himself, you know, the way he fists pumps the fans and stuff.
«That's kind of like our thing. So if they want to be stealing our stuff, then it shows that we're on the right path and we've got these who are copying us.»
