"Davies to Real Madrid? He is comfortable at Bayern"
Alphonso Davies' name has been on Real Madrid's agenda for some time, but Bayern are optimistic that these are just rumours. The sporting director of the Munich outfit spoke loud and clear to 'Bild' about his intentions for the defender.
"Davies to Real Madrid? He has a contract with us until 2025. I'm convinced that he enjoys playing for Bayern and would like to stay longer," he continued. Freund called on Davies for talks in the near future. "We will have talks...," he said in closing.
The left-back is one of Thomas Tuchel's undisputed first-choice players with 24 appearances, 23 starts.
Real Madrid are looking for a player for that position and believe there is no one more complete than the Canadian international, so they will do everything in their power to convince him to move to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
