If there's one player in the Liverpool front line who will have no qualms coping with the intense competition for places, it's Diogo Jota.
After all, when the Portuguese arrived at Anfield more than three years ago, he readily accepted the onerous task the likes of Timo Werner and others ultimately shied away from - forcing his way into one of the most celebrated attacking triumvirates in history in Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
That Jota, despite two lengthy injury setbacks last season, will hope to make his 125th appearance when Jurgen Klopp's side entertain Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday underlines how he has successfully forged his own reputation at Anfield.

With Salah still locking down the right wing, Jota is vying with Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez for a place down the centre of the attack, with Luis Diaz also offering competition to the trio for the left-wing berth.
And after moving on to five goals in 11 appearances this season with the opener in Thursday's 5-1 Europa League stroll at home to Toulouse, Jota is content with his form.
"So far, so good," he says. "I think I have a lot of goals already from the amount of time I play. So that is what I can do. And whenever I am on the pitch, I try to do the best I can do.
"When I first came here, everyone talked about the best trio in the world. But everyone is different. Obviously, we have a lot of variety now. That is helpful and everyone is scoring, which makes life harder for the opponents. In the end that is what we want - to win games.
