Paulo Dybala has revealed his top three teammates, with the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo making the cut. However, the 30-year-old's third choice has shocked fans.
Dybala named Chelsea flop Gonzalo Higuain as one of his 'favourite team-mates from the world of football' - putting him in the same bracket as Ronaldo and Messi despite his uninspiring loan spell at Chelsea in 2019.
Speaking to Al Arabi Al Jadeed via Calciomercato, Dybala said: 'Messi, Ronaldo and [Gonzalo] Higuain are my three favourite team-mates in the world of football. Ronaldo, he's a champion – playing with him at Juventus was wonderful.
'I learned about the dedication to my profession from him and the desire to win, despite everything I had already achieved. I am not surprised that he is also doing well in [Saudi] Arabia.
'Although my dream since I was a child was to play with Messi... he is already a constant inspiration. To have shared the World Cup victory with him is something I will never forget.'
Higuain scored 121 goals in 264 matches for Real Madrid after they bought him from River Plate in his homeland, helping the Bernabeu club to three Spanish titles.
From there, Higuain joined Napoli and continued to score at a prolific rate over three seasons there before joining Serie A side Juventus in 2016.
While in Turin, he helped his team win three Serie A championships and to reach the Champions League final in 2017.
However, things went down hill for Higuain when he joined Chelsea on loan - scoring just five times in 18 matches for the Premier League giants.
Although, Higuain did manage to win the Europa League in 2019 before signing for Inter Miami in September 2020.
Higuain also scored 31 times 75 outings for his country Argentina,
