Brazil striker Endrick revealed that he "dreamed of scoring" his first goal at the Santiago Bernabeu, which will be his home stadium from next season, as he did on Tuesday when he scored in the 50th minute of the friendly against Spain (3-3).
"I spoke about it at dinner on Monday, I dreamed of scoring my first goal at the Bernabeu. Nobody is better than anyone else here. And I owe these two goals to my team-mates and to Dorival for his confidence," he said on Teledeporte.
"I'm very happy with what's happening in my life and I'm very grateful for it," added Endrick, who said he preferred not to speak in Spanish as he was playing for his national team.
At the conclusion of the match at the Bernabeu, Florentino Perez met Real Madrid's Brazilian players outside the visiting dressing room. He had a chat with Vinicius and greeted Endrick, who scored a goal in his first game at what will be his home. "We're waiting for you here," the Madrid president told the 17-year-old striker, who will play for Real Madrid from July.
The last to join the huddle was striker Rodrygo Goes, who Florentino Perez asked for the match shirt after congratulating him on his goal.
