Jurgen Klopp says Wataru Endo has a "big chance" of being fit for Liverpool's Premier League clash against Manchester United on Sunday.
The Japan international missed Thursday's 3-1 win over Sheffield United as goals from Darwin Nunez, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo fired Liverpool to the top of the Premier League. However, the German was confident that he would be able to welcome back his No.3 at Old Trafford in less than four days' time.
"We rested him today," said Klopp. "We had a feeling that he could've had a chance for tonight but if we leave him out there's a big chance for Sunday. That hasn't changed."

As well as missing Endo, Liverpool were without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker, Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic, though they were able to welcome back Curtis Jones and Andy Robertson after varying spells on the Anfield sidelines.
"Super positive the boys coming on," added Klopp. "Curtis [Jones] back, Robbo back, Cody [Gakpo] not out but a really good game which he needed. No one got injured, recovery started already."
