Manchester United academy product Angel Gomes (23) has rebuilt his career at Lille OSC, however, according to Fabrizio Romano, a move could soon be on the cards.
Gomes is not the same player who left Manchester United to join Lille back in 2020. He has grown in stature, confidence and maturity, but his profile has also developed. Initially, a No.10, known for his technical ability within tight spaces, the England U21 international has dropped deeper and has played both as a No.6 and a No.8 for Les Dogues, making him a more rounded and complete midfielder.

However, the arrival of Nabil Bentaleb has seen him feature more regularly in the No.10 position this season and he is putting up impressive numbers in an impressive Lille side. He currently has six assists and two goals in 31 appearances in all competitions and according to Romano, “multiple clubs” are following the Englishman, whose contract expires at the end of next season.
