On Thursday, Sean Dyche confirmed that both he and Director of Football Kevin Thelwell met with prospective owners 777 Partners. Co-founder Josh Wander travelled to Finch Farm this week to meet the Blues boss for the first time.

The 52-year-old confirmed that the face-to-face talks were 'honest' between the respective parties after it was confirmed that the Miami-based investment firm had agreed to take over from Farhad Moshiri.

Elsewhere, the agent of former Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin has described it as a horror spell after injuries ravaged his time on Merseyside.
