Liverpool are looking to make it two wins in two in the Europa League when they host Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday night.
The Reds were in training on Wednesday which saw Thiago, Stefan Bajcetic and Bobby Clark, along with Cody Gakpo, all absent from the preparations for the visit of the Belgian top-flight leaders.
Clark was included in Jurgen Klopp's 23-man squad for the group stage after impressing during the Reds' pre-season preparations and starring for Barry Lewtas' Under-21s side. However, he has yet to feature for the first team this season and instead has been utilised in the Premier League 2 and Premier League International Cup.
His absence from the open training session poses questions over his involvement at Anfield on Thursday. However, Luke Chambers, alongside fellow youngsters Jarell Quansah and Ben Doak, could be involved after being pictured at the session.

Certainly out are fellow midfielders Thiago and Bajcetic.
Thiago has suffered a setback in his bid for full fitness after undergoing surgery on a hip problem. His Spanish compatriot, Bajcetic, returned to action after six months out in the 3-1 win over LASK in Liverpool's opening Europa League Group E encounter before making late cameo in the win over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup. But he was left out against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday after suffering a calf injury.
