Chelsea have been dealt yet more setbacks on the injury front as they prepare to welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on Thursday. The Blues are looking to respond to their disappointing draw with Burnley at the weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino's side can move to within five points of United with a game in hand should they win despite dropping down to 12th in the table following midweek matches before them. Even with incredible inconsistency, they remain within touching distance of the European places.
The head coach will have to get past United without a growing number of key players absent, though. Chelsea's fitness plague has seemingly only managed to worsen as the year goes on. Here, football.london has the latest from the Chelsea treatment room ahead of the game.

Chukwuemeka returned from the England Under-21 camp early during the international break with a slight knock. He played no part in the 2-2 draw with Burnley but is set to return against United after being in team training according to the club's pre-match injury list.
Possible return date: Manchester United (H) — April 4.

Chelsea were hit by another injury blow against Burnley with Malo Gusto coming off after clutching his hamstring. He trained with the team ahead of United, though.
What Pochettino has said: «Okay, Trevoh [Chalobah] and Malo [Gusto] have trained with us and I think they could be ready to be in the squad.»
Possible return date: Manchester United (H) — April 4.
