Erling Haaland scored five goals as Manchester City thrashed Luton Town 6-2 on Tuesday night.
The striker broke the deadlock in the third minute when he lashed home from close range from Kevin de Bruyne's cutback from the left flank.
Haaland doubled their advantage 15 minutes later when he raced onto a through ball before firing low through Tim Krul.
And he completed his hat-trick in the 40th minute when he ran onto another through ball and dinked the ball over the Luton goalkeeper.
Luton reduced the deficit as Jordan Clark scored just before the break with a stunning effort.
And Clark scored again in the 52nd minute, before De Bruyne and Haaland combined again to make it 4-2.
And the 23-year-old then restored City's three-goal lead with his fifth goal in the 58th minute, with Bernardo Silva providing the assist.
