Dean Shiels said Irish League clubs are in desperate need of a cash boost
Former Northern Ireland international Dean Shiels has expressed his disappointment that Windsor Park has been frozen out of hosting Euro 2028 matches and he’s also questioned what the legacy of the tournament will be for football in the country.
Supporters at the Euro 2024 qualifying doubleheader at home to San Marino and Slovenia voiced their opposition to plans for the as-yet-unbuilt Casement Park stadium in west Belfast to be centre stage at the European Championships.
