Juventus and Équipe de France midfielder Adrien Rabiot (28) spoke to the press ahead of France’s forthcoming international fixtures against Germany and Chile. The former Paris Saint-Germain man has just returned from injury and faces an uncertain future, with rumours of a return to the French capital:
” I haven’t decided yet. It’s true that last summer I stayed in Turin knowing that we wouldn’t play in European competition. It was an important choice on my part. Next season, we should be back in Europe and also participating in the Club World Cup, these are things in my consideration, but I haven’t decided yet. I want to end the season strongly, I’m trying to remain focused, to come back slowly from the minor injury I had, I’m not rushing. I’ll need to think about it because I’m arriving at an important stage of my career. I feel good, in full command of my abilities. It’ll be important to make the right choice.”
As reported by GFFN earlier today, Rabiot’s name has come up in the rumour mill with regards to PSG’s summer business, but the player appeared to exclude that possibility given his acrimonious exit from the club five years ago. The midfielder has played 201 games for the Bianconeri since joining in 2019, scoring 21 goals and providing 15 assists in what could be described as an inconsistent spell in Italy.
