Jurgen Klopp admits he is wrestling with the worst injury crisis of his managerial career - but challenged his Liverpool players to keep finding solutions.
The Reds were without as many as 13 first-team players for Wednesday night's FA Cup fifth-round tie with Southampton at Anfield having seen Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo succumb to problems of their own after Sunday's Carabao Cup triumph over Chelsea at Wembley.
It meant Klopp was unable to name Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, Dominik Szoboszlai, Stefan Bajcetic, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez or Ben Doak alongside Gravenberch and Endo for the visit of the Saints.
As a result, the 3-0 win over the Championship side saw Klopp start as many six Academy graduates before introducing a further three off the bench in a game that saw two teenagers score their maiden goals for the club in Jayden Danns and Lewis Koumas.

Ahead of Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest, Klopp has since indicated that Nunez, Endo and Szoboszlai are potentially okay to return to the fold. But the Liverpool manager insists he is grappling with the most punishing injury list of a career that spans nearly a quarter of a century.
Klopp, though, is refusing to use that list of absentees of mitigation as the Premier League leaders look to extend their advantage to four points at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
