Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has two huge rebuilding projects he is set to start right after leaving Anfield, it has been reported.
Following the shock news that Klopp will step down as Liverpool boss at the end of the 2023/24 season, the 56-year-old German reportedly intends to take a year off from football and focus on two projects for his family, according to The Mirror. They report that Klopp is going to swap his Liverpool tracksuit for work overalls and help finish building two new houses: one in Wiesbaden near Frankfurt, and the other in Mallorca, which is said to be his favourite holiday spot.
The Mirror report Klopp and his wife Ulla bought the property in June 2022 for £3.4million from Swiss businessman and artist Rolf Knie. Ulla is said to be overseeing the extensive renovation of the 5,000-metre property, aiming to make it an eco-friendly family paradise, cutting electricity usage by 75 per cent and installing a high-tech irrigation system controlled by phone. Klopp has reportedly told friends he plans "to get stuck in" and help finish the huge Mediterranean project as soon as his Liverpool duties are over.

The second build in Wiesbaden will allow the Klopps to be near family, especially now they're first-time grandparents - and, according to the report, Jurgen can't wait to dive into grandparenting duties during his break.
