Jurgen Klopp has slammed the decision to televise Liverpool's trip to Manchester City after the international break at 12.30pm, saying the decision-makers don't "feel football".
The Reds beat Brentford 3-0 on Sunday to go second in the Premier League behind champions City to set up a first-versus-second clash at the Etihad on November 25.
The Saturday lunchtime slot will be Liverpool's third of the season immediately following an international break and Klopp, who has previously been outspoken about the schedule, once more questioned why two teams with dozens of players away with their national teams just days earlier are having to perform in the day's early slot.

"Football is strange," Klopp said. "If you would have asked me three days ago [after the defeat to Toulouse] just about the feeling, not about what I know, I am not sure I would talk about the start [we've made].
"The start is the start and now we play Brentford. That is actually how I see it but obviously you look at the game, the numbers, the results, most of the time it was OK or better.
"A point at Luton didn't feel great, Tottenham, in the circumstances, obviously didn't feel great and I don't know the other games. It's absolutely all right if we just don't really think about it. Today it was about getting through the game and we did. The boys responded sensationally well. Now they are all gone and we can train once before Man City.
