Even in the shadow of the Stadium TFC, it surely took a little convincing for some that there was a major European game on in town this week.
Mere yards from where Liverpool will step out against Toulouse in the Europa League this evening, a group of locals were busy playing basketball, oblivious to the fact Reds goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher and then manager Jurgen Klopp were taking to the stage in the media tent.
That, though, won't be the case come kick-off if the vociferous and boisterous presence of the Toulouse fans at Anfield a fortnight ago is any gauge. Indeed, emblazoned on the side of the stadium was a sign saying 'You'll Never Support Tefece Alone', a nod to both the nickname of the French team and the experience on Merseyside last month, despite Liverpool's 5-1 win.

“I expect Toulouse to go for it," says Klopp. "If you want to go through the group you better win your home games. Toulouse will try to use the atmosphere and we have to make sure we are ready.
"But we are quite experienced in European competitions in the last few years and we know away games are definitely different but it gives us a chance anyway. I expect a really strong Toulouse side, a team who wants to qualify for the next round and with three points in this group you never know how the other game may end up.
"I know what is coming but I cannot make it more and tell my players to deal with that situation. They will try everything to win the game as we will.”
