There were no losers in regards to the results and a defeat at Anfield for either Arsenal or Liverpool would have been devastating for their title ambitions. It could be argued that Liverpool perhaps slightly edged it in terms of quality of chances but the Gunners will be fuming that they couldn’t find the finishing touch when it came to their own.
Coming to Anfield you typically need to ensure that everyone is on their game if you are to take all three points. Sadly, whilst the majority of the team were fantastic on the day, some players dipped slightly and that led to the wasting of chances and the surrendering of possession.
