Kai Havertz fires Thomas Muller seven-word message as Arsenal vs Bayern Munich prediction made

Kai Havertz has responded to Thomas Muller on social media with a seven-word message. The Bayern Munich ace recorded a video for his fellow countryman after it was revealed that they'll lock horns in the Champions League quarterfinal.

Arsenal will welcome the Bundesliga champions to the Emirates Stadium for the first leg on April 9 before returning to the Allianz Arena for the second leg on April 17. Following the draw in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday morning, Muller posted a video message on X, formerly known as Twitter.

«Kai Havertz, my friend, I am waiting for you,» he said. «It's a nice draw. Two very good teams, two very good stadiums, two very good cities. It will be tough but I'm always positive. See you Gunners.»

In a matter of hours, Mullers' video chalked up over two millions views and 30,000 likes. No more than half an hour later, Havertz responded, simply writing: "[Two crying with laughter emojis] Will be a good game for sure [bicep flexed emoji] #YaGunnersYa."

Muller has played against Arsenal seven times in his career – all of which have come in the Champions League – winning four, losing twice and losing once. The 34-year-old has also enjoyed plenty of success against the Gunners on a personal level too, scoring five and providing one assist.

Despite a healthy record in front of goal, Muller only actually played four minutes of Bayern's 10-2 demolition of Arsenal in 2017. Funnily enough, he still managed to find the net, scoring off the bench in the round of 16 first leg.
