Kalvin Phillips 'in talks' with European giants and more Man City transfer rumours
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have made contact with Manchester City over a possible swoop for Kalvin Phillips - according to reports.
Phillips has struggled to command regular game-time with the treble-winners following his £45million move from Leeds United last summer. The 27-year-old midfielder has only started five times for the Premier League champions in all competitions.
Several clubs have been linked with a mid-season push for the England international. Reports from 90min indicate Bayern have now added their name to that list.

Thomas Tuchel reportedly wants to strengthen up his options when the market reopens after the German giants were forced to sell Manchester United-linked Ryan Gravenberch to Liverpool this summer. Bayern saw a move for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha collapse on deadline day.

City were heavily linked with Eze and West Ham playmaker Lucas Paqueta before, eventually, snapping up Matheus Nunes from Wolves.
City are claimed to still be monitoring Eze as he continues his development. Football Insider places his valuation at Palace close to £70m - which is £17m more than City paid for Nunes.
