Liverpool will be back in European action this week as their Europa League campaign will get underway.
It may not be the European competition Liverpool are used to playing in, having been a firm Champions League participant over the last five years. However, the second tier tournament will be a major objective for Jurgen Klopp this year, not only for the chance of expanding his trophy haul, but for the route back into the Champions League winning the tournament offers. The Reds have been drawn against Austrian side LASK, Belgian team Union SG and French outfit Toulouse and will play the group games from this week until mid December.
This will be the first time since 2015/2016 that Liverpool have taken part in the Europa League, however that was the year in which the Reds made the final of the competition only to lose to Sevilla in Basel. All Europa League games this season will be shown live on TNT Sports and you can find out when Liverpool are playing, key dates you need to know in this year's tournament as well as how to watch it all.
