Jurgen Klopp hailed the reaction of his players to West Ham United's equaliser as Liverpool went second in the Premier League with a 3-1 win on Sunday.
After Mohamed Salah's penalty was cancelled out by Jarrod Bowen's diving header before half time, the Reds responded after the break with goals from Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota as they won 3-1 for the third time in eight days.
The victory was enough to close the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City to two points as Liverpool scored three goals for a fifth time this season across all competitions to extend their winning run to six games.
It means Klopp's men are now unbeaten since the start of April, a sequence which stretches back 18 games in total and the manager admits he has been enthused by the start his team have made to their season, having taken 16 points from a possible 18.
