When asked about Mainoo's availability on Friday, Ten Hag told reporters: «I don't know, we hope. Today he is here, not fully recovered but we still have many hours before tomorrow with kick off at 8pm.»

The Red Devils will be desperate for Mainoo to be involved, with the youngster now regarded as an important member of Ten Hag's squad.

Mainoo has made 20 competitive appearances since November to establish himself as a regular fixture in the first-team setup.
