Liverpool fans are still processing today’s bombshell announcement that Jurgen Klopp will depart Anfield at the end of the season.

The news has taken the footballing world by shock, with the Reds in the midst of another title battle under Klopp this season.

With other key figures also confirmed to be leaving the Reds alongside Klopp, such as assistant manager Pep Lijnders and sporting director Jorg Schmadtke, there will be plenty of focus on who will takeover the reigns at Anfield and try to continue the huge success the German has built in his eight-and-a-half years at the club.

Yet Klopp’s seismic announcement will no doubt prompt some reflection from fans, with the manager having led the club to seven major trophies, including the Reds’ first Premier League title and a historic sixth Champions League.
