Linfield boss David Healy is keen to bolster his squad
Linfield have submitted a bid for Falkirk winger Callumn Morrison to try and bolster their squad for the Sports Direct Premiership run-in, per the Daily Record in Scotland.
Reeling from Saturday’s home loss to Dungannon Swifts which cut their Premiership lead to one point, manager David Healy looks ready to add more attacking options to his roster and has earmarked Morrison as the man to do so.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is able to sign a pre-contract with any team right now, however it is understood that Healy is so keen to get Morrison on board that he is willing to try and push a deal through within the next 48 hours.
Morrison has scored 12 goals for Falkirk this season and would receive glowing endorsements from former team-mate Ben Hall, the defender now at Windsor Park, and ex-Queen of the South star Euan East.
Falkirk, who are top of the Scottish third tier, have insisted that they “have no intention to sell any player to any club this window”, however an attractive offer from Linfield could sway their decision.
