Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz after all three suffered injuries in Sunday’s 4-3 defeat to Manchester United.
The Reds were knocked out of the FA Cup at the quarter-final stage after a thrilling game that stretched past 120 minutes at Old Trafford. Amad Diallo's extra-time winner won it for Erik ten Hag's men and set up a showdown with Coventry City at Wembley in next month's semi-final.
Klopp went into the game without nine first-team players in Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic and Ben Doak and might now have the trio of attackers on their injured list after a bruising affair against Erik ten Hag’s men.
Ryan Gravenberch was in the match-day squad for Sunday’s game but hasn’t played since the Carabao Cup final win nearly a month ago and the Reds received special dispensation from Egypt to keep Mohamed Salah on Merseyside for the international break after his own recent return from a hamstring problem.
