Liverpool's hunt for an unprecedented quadruple is still very much on, and Jurgen Klopp's side will still be fighting on all fronts come the end of the season "because it's what they do".
That's according to ex-Reds defender Glen Johnson who has pinpointed his former club's knack of grinding out results as the reason they can still win a quadruple of major trophies in the current campaign. After coming close to achieving the ultimate feat two years ago, Jurgen Klopp's side suffered a dip in form last season, finishing the season without a trophy and outside the Champions League.
But it has been a different story this term. The Reds are currently top of the Premier League, cruising in the Europa League, one game away from reaching the Carabao Cup final and have progressed in the FA Cup after beating rivals Arsenal in their own backyard. None of this surprises retired England international Johnson, who is backing Klopp's men to go the distance.

He told the Daily Star: "The reason they’re top of the Premier League at the moment is that they’ve been winning games despite not playing great in a number of matches. A sign of a team that’s going to win things is a side that can win when they’re playing badly and that’s what they’ve had to do at times this season.
"They’ve not really peaked and they’re still winning games, so they’ve clearly got more to come. Stranger things have happened, but I don’t believe they will win all four trophies because the number of games they’ll have to play is so demanding. But is it possible? Absolutely.”
