Manchester City are bringing the FIVE trophies they won last year to Belfast on Thursday as part of what is described as their Treble Trophy Tour.
At the Lansdowne Hotel on the Antrim Road between 6pm and 7pm City fans will have the opportunity to have pictures taken with the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
Pep Guardiola’s side do not have the same level of support in Northern Ireland as derby rivals Manchester United and title rivals Liverpool, but their fan base is growing here with more youngsters following the club in recent years combined with their loyal older supporters who were cheering the team on and attending matches at the old Maine Road ground long before the modern day success.

In 2023 City became only the second English club in history to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season emulating the 1999 feat of United.
Guardiola’s side went on to claim the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup and have a shot at doing it all over again this year.
After the visit to Northern Ireland the silverware will go to the Republic of Ireland and will be on display at the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey, Donegal on Friday, March 8 between 6pm and 7pm before a trip to Croke Park in Dublin on Saturday March 9 from
