Chelsea are set to be active in the final days of the transfer window with the futures of Romelu Lukaku and Callum Hudson-Odoi to be resolved as the Blues look to sign another player
The final week of the transfer window is well under way, with business set to be resolved by 11pm on September 1. In traditional fashion, Chelsea are not yet done and could be set for a number of transfers in the coming days.
The Blues have ticked off most of their priorities this summer. Much of last season's squad has departed as the Blues looked to trim their numbers, while additions have been made in goal, in midfield and up front.
Mauricio Pochettino retains hope of adding another attacking player to his array of talent. The 51-year-old head coach hopes for an ace who can play across the frontline to help Chelsea during the club's current injury crisis, but will not prevent the development of the likes of Armando Broja.
Pochettino's desire for a squad of 23 players that can benefit from providing youth a chance, also ensures there could be players heading out of the club this week too. The likes of Romelu Lukaku and Callum Hudson-Odoi are set to be top of the agenda on that front, with neither player having spent time with the first team following the former PSG boss' arrival.

Fairly, obviously, Chelsea's best case scenario would see another player arrive for Pochettino. The likes of Brennan Johnson, Rayan Cherki and Bradley Barcola are among players the Blues have looked at. Though, it has already been made clear Johnson will not come cheap.
An ideal world would see Romelu Lukaku sold, rather than loaned, though the Blues look set to receive a fee from Roma
