Manchester City will be looking to take another step forward in their Women's Super League title charge on Saturday lunchtime when they host local rivals Manchester United.
Gareth Taylor's side have already beaten the Red Devils twice this term and can make it a much-needed hat-trick at the Etihad Stadium this weekend as they search for an 11th straight WSL — the first game of that run came in their November victory at Old Trafford. And with Chelsea, ahead of them at the top of the table on goal difference only, not in action this weekend until Sunday when they face West Ham, the Cityzens can put the pressure on Emma Hayes' reigning champions.
Meanwhile, Man Utd are still just about in the race for Champions League qualification this season after Arsenal dropped points last time out, currently trail the third-placed Gunners by six points. Marc Skinner's side have scored six goals without conceding in their last two games across the WSL and FA Cup but will have to be at their absolute best to get a positive result in the blue half of Manchester.
Here is guide to the upcoming Manchester derby.
