Manchester United coaching staff are concerned Marcus Rashford's lifestyle is having a negative impact on his form, talkSPORT understands.
The forward missed the FA Cup win over Newport County on Sunday having been pictured partying in Belfast a few days earlier.
Man United boss Erik ten Hag said the player was ill for the team's training session on Friday, however, it later emerged Rashford had visited Thompsons Garage nightclub in the Northern Irish city the previous evening.
The 26-year-old wasn't involved in the matchday squad for Man United's trip to South Wales and reported for training on Monday to hold talks with Ten Hag and director of football John Murtough over his recent conduct.
In a statement United said Rashford 'has taken responsibility for his actions' and that the Belfast incident had been 'dealt with internally.'
Sources close to the player told talkSPORT the player is in 'complete self destruct mode' and there are fears by some Rashford's inner circle have too much power over the England international.
The Sun published details of Rashford's night out where it's reported he "collapsed on a hotel bed fully clothed just before 3am" after drinking for a 12-hour period.
However, the report adds that a source in Rashford's camp insists he left the nightclub at 1:15am.
The report also says Rashford took a private jet back to Manchester at 7am on Friday before phoning in sick.
It's said Rashford will be fined two weeks' wages for his misdemeanours.
Rashford's off-the-pitch conduct being questioned has been a theme in recent times having come under fire for partying in a Manchester nightclub hours after Man United's 3-0 defeat at home to rivals Manchester City in October.
