Manchester United given six injury boosts ahead of Tottenham showdown amid Erik ten Hag update

Manchester United could welcome back six players from injury and illness against Tottenham in their Premier League match on Sunday.

United manager Erik ten Hag suggested Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Antony and Amad were all in contention to return to the matchday squad. Shaw has missed the last three matches with an unspecified injury, Amad and Eriksen were absent for the FA Cup win at Wigan through illness while Antony was injured.

Martinez has been sidelined for nearly four months after requiring another round of surgery on a fractured metatarsal while Casemiro has not played since November 1 due to a hamstring problem.
