Manchester United have reportedly intensified their contact with Juventus defender Gleison Bremer ahead of a summer transfer approach.
The 27-year-old has been an integral part of the Italian giants' defence this season with the Turin club conceding just 23 goals so far this campaign. However, there is speculation that suggests Juve may have to sell players considering the financial situation at the club.
As such, Calciomercato reports that Ratcliffe has instructed his team to put feelers out for the Brazilian centre-back so as to gain a jump on their rivals this summer. Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur are all believed to have an interest in the 27-year-old with United reportedly happy to pay a release clause which sits anywhere between £43m and £49m.

United are likely to need at least one centre-back in the summer with Raphael Varane's contract expiring at the end of the campaign along with Jonny Evans'. Elsewhere, TuttoSport is backing United to make a move for Boca Juniors' young centre-back Aaron Anselmino.
The 18-year-old Argentine has been described as a 'jewel' with INEOS keen to take advantage of the South American market to find stars of the future. Surprisingly, it is reported that United would be willing to spend £15m on the defender before loaning him to Nice to complete his development.
Should this happen, it would be a departure from the commonly- held belief that Ratcliffe is unwilling to make Nice an affiliate club of United. It has been stressed previously that the British billionaire wants the clubs to be two separate entities.
