Manchester United could make a move for Bayer Leverkusen and Netherlands wing-back Jeremie Frimpong in the summer transfer window. The 23-year-old is one of Europe's most in-demand players after his dazzling displays in Germany.
Frimpong has helped Leverkusen top the Bundesliga table after 21 games and boasts an impressive record in front of goal for a right-back. The Dutch international has scored eight goals and assisted another ten in all competitions with him playing as an offensive wing-back under Xabi Alonso.
As the Manchester Evening News reported in September, a new full-back is one of four key signings that United are looking to complete ahead of the 2024/25 season. Frimpong is said to be on their radar to bolster Erik ten Hag's options.

Diogo Dalot has done more than enough to establish himself as the first-choice right-back this season but injuries to Aaron Wan-Bissaka mean that, come the summer, another option could be brought in.
Alonso's future at Leverkusen continues to be unclear amid strong links to Liverpool. Should the Spaniard replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, Frimpong could be tempted in a move away from the BayArena.
