According to the Manchester Evening News, Amass's performances at academy level 'have not gone unnoticed' this season, and the left-back was pictured in training with the first team on Wednesday.
The Englishman has scored once and provided three assists in 10 appearances in the Under-18s Premier League this season, with Man United winning all 14 of their matches at that level to sit 17 points clear at the summit.
Amass's form at youth level allegedly saw him invited to train with the first team, although it is unclear whether he is being considered for a senior squad at this stage of his career.
First-team head coach Erik ten Hag said that «the future for Manchester United is quite bright» while addressing the media during his press conference on Thursday afternoon.
Kobbie Mainoo, 18, has recently made the step up to the first team from academy level, while Alejandro Garnacho, 19, and Rasmus Hojlund, 21, are currently in impressive form.
«I think they enjoy to play together. There is adventure, they are a danger, they want to do it together.
