Tottenham, Man Utd and Aston Villa battle in top-four race - Predict final Premier League table

Tottenham will be hoping to qualify for the Champions League next season as we enter the final few months of the 2023/24 campaign. Ange Postecoglou's side are currently fifth in the league, five points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, although Spurs do have one game in hand.

Manchester United are close behind the Lilywhites, however, with Erik ten Hag's side in sixth on 44 points. Teams such as Brighton & Hove Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and West Ham United are also not too far behind.

Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United look like they are the main contenders to finish in that all-important fourth spot. There is the possibility that fifth could be enough to secure a place in Europe's premier competition for next season, however.

With the Champions League group stage expanding by four more teams from the 2024/25 season, there are four more places up for grabs. England may be given one of the extra slots should the English sides in Europe do well this season and that of course will be a huge boost for Tottenham should that happen.

Postecoglou will want to ensure hid side qualify by finishing fourth, however, to avoid any doubt. With games against Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool to come between now and May 19, it will not be an easy task for Spurs at all.

Man United, meanwhile, have some hard games to play themselves as they travel to Man City while also welcoming Liverpool and Arsenal to Old Trafford. Aston Villa, of course, welcome Tottenham to Villa Park on March 10 and also have to travel to Man City and Arsenal.
