Fulham manager Marco Silva has slammed the officiating that took place in Sunday's 4-3 defeat at Anfield - insisting Trent Alexander-Arnold's late winner should have been ruled out for a "clear foul".
Goals from Wataru Endo and Alexander-Arnold saw the Reds fight from 3-2 down against the Cottagers to snatch all three points after Harry Wilson, Kenny Tete and Bobby De Cordova-Reid had put the visitors on the brink of a famous Anfield victory.
Alexander-Arnold scored the all-important winner at the Kop end just seconds after Endo had added to the earlier own goal from Bernd Leno and a once-in-a-lifetime-strike from Alexis Mac Allister.

Silva, however, believes Liverpool's No.66's strike should have been chalked off by referee Stuart Atwell after Kostas Tsimikas challenged De Cordova-Reid for an aerial ball at the back post, with the Fulham striker later falling to the ground upon the impact of Liverpool's Greek full-back.
Speaking two days after the game, the Londoners' boss maintained, as he did on Sunday, that if his side had scored that goal then the decision would have been scrutinised more extensively.
"No one is talking about the fourth goal against Liverpool," said Silva on Tuesday, as reported by journalist Peter Rutzler. "That reflects the business. I know it’s Liverpool and Fulham…The fourth goal is a clear foul on Bobby De Cordova-Reid. If it was the opposite we would have conversations
"It’s not a VAR call, it’s a mistake from the referee. The protocol has to be clear and obvious, that’s a difficult call for VAR.” Says the referee didn't see it."
