Matalan's new "sleek" sandals could easily be mistaken for a designer brand.
The Where's That From Cream PU Candour Textile Strap Sandals from Matalan are very similar to a pair by Dior - but come with a huge price difference. At a glace, Matalan's version looks almost identical to Dior's Dway Slides. The two pairs of sandals are similar in design, with flat soles and slip-on, slip-off style.
The two also feature similar colour schemes - cream and white - and text across the strap. However, Matalan's shoes are faux leather with a plain sole, while Dior's feature butterflies on the sole and are made with real leather.

The designer version also features the iconic 'Christian Dior' logo, while the high street sandals say 'St Tropez.' Matalan's sandals are available in cream or black, though the darker colourway has 'Paris' written across the front instead.
The Where's That From Cream PU Candour Textile Strap Sandals are priced at £21, while the Dior shoes come in at £680. This means shoppers could save around £659 by opting for the high street alternative.
The full product description reads: "Introducing our Textile Strap Slip On Sandals - the perfect combination of style and comfort. These sandals are designed to elevate your everyday looks with their sleek design and fashionable front strap detail."
The Matalan sandals have not yet been reviewed online. Alternatively, New Look sells the Gold Leather-Look Woven 2 Part Sandals for £22.99 and ASOS has the London Rebel flat sandals in black for £12, down from £30. H&M's Braided sandals are priced at £18.99, and Mango's Raffia
