Matheus Nunes has not started a Premier League game for Manchester City since September and has admitted he has areas of his game to improve in.
However, he says manager Pep Guardiola is showing faith in him by including him as part of his set-up and is trying to attain the esteemed levels of the squad by learning from four teammates.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have made a transfer decision on City defender Joao Cancelo. The defender is at the Spanish club for the season on a loan deal and now the La Liga champions have stated their intentions over his long-term future.

Nunes believes he deserves to be at City but has confessed that he still has several aspects to work on, identifying four teammates he tries to feed off.
The Portugal star has not started a Premier League game for his new club since being taken off at half-time in the defeat to former employers Wolves in September. He has since been limited to just over an hour’s worth of league minutes, although started both Champions League games against Young Boys, as well as the opening win over Red Star Belgrade.
Injury during the last international break hampered his chances of game time in recent weeks but he came on for the final 22 minutes in Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
