Arsenal news: Mikel Arteta has seen one of his new signings Kai Havertz compared to former Gunner Mesut Ozil in a worrying message
Kai Havertz has endured a difficult start to his Arsenal career with the latest update seeing Mikel Arteta's £65million transfer decision hit with a Mesut Ozil comparison. The Germany international has started every competitive game for the Gunners so far this season but has come under significant fire for his midfield displays.
"That's more I think the demands of everybody to play forward and to impact the game in the final third because we had the urgency to win." When asked if Havertz would gain the support of the Arsenal fans, Arteta replied: "Yes I think so. I think he's done already really good things.

In the second half, Havertz won a penalty after being brought to the floor by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, however VAR recommended Anthony Taylor over to review the decision before it was ultimately overturned.
Despite those two crucial moments not going Havertz's way, Arsenal still won the game 3-1 thanks to two late goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus. With the international break now in play, Havertz will likely be deployed back in attack given that is usually where he is deployed for Germany.
