Mohamed Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has bizarrely responded to a tweet about the forward’s Liverpool future.
The Egypt international was the subject of strong interest from Al-Ittihad during the summer transfer window, with Liverpool rejecting a £150million offer from the Saudi Pro League champions for the forward.
As reported by the ECHO at the time, the deal is understood to have comprised an initial £100m with extensive add-ons taking the fee up to £150m. The Reds, however, were steadfast in their refusal to entertain selling Salah during the summer window.
The 31-year-old remains one of Liverpool's most important players and has scored 18 goals in 27 appearances so far this term. He has also continued to be the subject of continued speculation about his Anfield future.

And now, replying to a tweet from March last year that claimed Salah wanted to leave Liverpool and preferred a move to Spain, Abbas Issa said: “You just don’t know."
Salah signed a new, incentivised deal until 2025 in July 2022, which made him the highest-paid player in the club’s history. Speaking about Salah’s future back in November, Klopp said: “Mo is here, Mo never came to me and wanted to go.
“I didn’t think a second about it, to be honest, should we [sell] or not, or whatever? So, yes, he’s here."
Salah missed Liverpool’s 2-0 FA Cup win over Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday as he is currently away on international duty with Egypt preparing for the start of the Africa Cup of Nations.
