Mohamed Salah is set to return to Liverpool following the injury he picked up at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Salah has been ruled out for at least the next two games of the competition after being forced off shortly before half-time during Egypt’s 2-2 group draw with Ghana in the Ivory Coast on Thursday.
The forward held a press conference on Sunday in which he sidestepped any serious questions regarding his fitness.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking after the 4-0 Premier League win at Bournemouth later in the day, suggested Salah will now fly back to Merseyside to continue his rehabilitation.
“That’s the plan, if that’s already been decided 100% I don’t know,” said Klopp. “But that’s the plan.
“However long he is out, I think everybody sees it makes sense that he does the rehab with us or our people.
“If that’s now written in stone already, I don’t know. I spoke to Mo on the night it happened but since then he is contact with our doctor and the doc tells me the news and I think he will be back.”
Asked if Salah would be able to later rejoin the Egypt squad should they reach the final, Klopp added: “I am not a medic and I’m not a doctor, but I would say if Egypt qualify for the final and he’s fit for the final then probably yes. Why not?
“We have no people from us there (in the Ivory Coast) and their people have to take care of the players who are playing, so let’s see.”
